THE BACKGROUND
Charlie AK was founded in 2018 by us, a mother-daughter team: Kristina and Charlotte Abrahamsson Kwetczer. Our mission is to revolutionize fashion and change how society perceives clothing.
Passionate about fashion and design, we combined our unique skills—Charlotte as an engineer and Kristina as an architect—to create a brand focused on empowering women through sustainable fashion. What started as a fun hobby, experimenting with designs and crafting unique pieces, soon revealed a market gap for stylish, confident, and sustainable fashion. This inspired us to turn our passion into a business.
We are driven individuals who bring that passion to our work every day, constantly challenging ourselves to create innovative, eco-friendly designs that stand out. Most of our collection is made in Sweden and Portugal using sustainable materials.
OUR MISSION
At Charlie AK, our goal is to create high-quality, uniquely designed clothing that our customers love to wear season after season.
We aim to slow down fashion trends and produce valuable pieces that last longer, addressing the fast-paced consumption behavior of our generation. We strive to exclude materials containing plastics that harm the environment, encouraging people to wear their garments more often and repair them rather than buy new ones.
We want women to feel strong and confident in Charlie AK designs, and it's our mission to make this a reality.
