I enjoy talking and debating about various topics, especially current events. It's a way for me to process and make sense of the world around us. It's not about always agreeing; rather, it's about exploring different perspectives. Through discussion, we often arrive at solutions we hadn't initially considered.

What inspires you?

There is so much that inspires me. Beautiful clothes, in particular, inspire me. Whether I'm at home or traveling to different cities, I love exploring local boutiques and finding unique fashion pieces. I also find inspiration in reading, attending theater performances, and watching films. But it's the world of fashion, with its colors, shapes, and combinations, that truly captivates me.

Sometimes, when I want to unwind and shift my focus, I try to envision various clothing combinations. This act of creativity stimulates me. It's a way to relax, especially when life gets busy or stressful. This interest in fashion has been with me for a long time, evolving with changes in my life, including financial constraints when I was younger. I may not be skilled at sewing, but I've found alternative ways to nurture my passion. I also find inspiration in helping others; many friends seek my advice on what to wear, and I thrive on providing fashion guidance.

I'm also inspired by engaging in discussions and debates. I enjoy talking and debating about various topics, especially current events. It's a way for me to process and make sense of the world around us. I have a daughter who is a psychologist, and we engage in meaningful conversations often. It's not about always agreeing; rather, it's about exploring different perspectives. Through discussion, we often arrive at solutions we hadn't initially considered.

What motivates you?

As a social worker who has served as a manager in social services for over 30 years, my motivation stems from a strong desire to make things better. If I see something isn't working, I feel compelled to bring about change. My passion lies in understanding people and connecting with them, regardless of their age. Engaging with young individuals, in particular, is incredibly rewarding, as I enjoy discussing their perspectives and providing guidance.

In my professional life, I believe in open dialogue and trust in my team. Trusting and believing in people is powerful, as it fosters growth and collaboration. If you involve your team in discussions and problem-solving, the outcomes are more rewarding. It accelerates the process of change. On the other hand, imposing decisions from the top down takes longer and stifles growth. I believe in empowering my team and creating an environment where they can openly discuss their experiences and challenges.

In today's world, I believe we sometimes miss out on important aspects because we focus too much on measuring outcomes rather than evaluating the quality of our work. The emphasis should be on quality rather than quantity. The expectation to meet specific quotas, such as seeing a certain number of patients in a day, can be counterproductive. It often overlooks the nuances and complexities of individual situations.

Who inspire you?

It's challenging for me to pinpoint one specific person who inspires me. I'm fascinated by individuals who dare to take risks and pursue their passions. Your commitment to sustainable design and staying true to your preferences impresses me. As much as I love fashion and shopping, I also feel a responsibility to the environment and believe in sustainable choices, including recycling and reusing.

Additionally, I'm inspired by young women in Iran who dare to protest and risk their lives for the right to choose their attire. Their strength in defying imposed dress codes and societal norms is remarkable. Throughout history, many have courageously protested against injustice and fought for freedom and democracy. So, it's challenging for me to single out just one person as my source of inspiration; there are many who inspire me in various ways.

Have you had any moments of insight?

There have been some difficult moments in my life that have provided profound insights. I've learned how fragile life can be and how unexpected challenges can arise. It emphasizes the importance of cherishing what we have and those around us, including family and friends. Life can change in an instant.

I am a widow; my husband passed away in a tragic car accident 12 years ago. It was devastating, but it also underscored the importance of moving forward and embracing life. It's a reminder that life isn't always fair, and we can't take things for granted. So, I try to make a positive impact on others and be there for my friends, family, and anyone who seeks my support. Knowing that friends turn to me for help and guidance is incredibly meaningful.
